India cricketer Harbhajan Singh is not impressed with the Pakistan fans who are accusing team India of fixing matches in order to make it to the semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. After losing to Pakistan and New Zealand, Virat Kohli and Co. have made a stunning comeback winning by 66 runs and eight wickets against Afghanistan and Scotland respectively.

The win over Scotland was so dominant that they won with a massive 81 balls to spare to boost their net run-rate of both Afghanistan and New Zealand. Ever since the game between India and Afghanistan has happened, the Pakistan fans are busy calling it fixed and Harbhajan has slammed them now. He also reminded them the reputation of Pakistan cricketers when it comes to fixing.

“We accept that Pakistan have played very good cricket and everyone also appreciates them for playing so well against India and beating them. Congratulations on that. But if you start misbehaving by claiming that you play fair cricket and if we win, you doubt us, term it unfair, fixed then that is wrong. We all know your cricketers reputation,” the off-spinner said while speaking on his Youtube channel.

Allegations very cheap and disgraceful, says Harbhajan Singh

Afghanistan endured their first real bad day in the T20 World Cup against India but on social media, they were accused of playing like that deliberately to help India. A few fans also claimed that the Afghanistan players secured their IPL contracts by helping the Men in Blue win. Harbhajan Singh asked the Pakistan fans to enjoy their team’s first win over India in World Cups rather than wasting the time in making such accusations.

“Pakistan fans are unable to digest their win over India, which they got after waiting for so many years in World Cups. There is a way to talk and raise questions. But people are putting serious allegations against us, against Rashid Khan which is pretty cheap and disgraceful,” the 41-year-old added.

Not long ago, Harbhajan Singh was involved in a serious tussle with Mohammad Amir after Pakistan’s win over India. The banter which started on a lighter note got ugly soon as both started to take personal digs on social media.
