The Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC) under the state government’s Department of Science & Technology has completed genomic sequencing of all the four confirmed Omicron variant cases of Covid-19. While four is a small sample, the findings give a significant insight into the virus’ possible behaviour.
