West Indies and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran has lauded the legendary former Indian and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni. The 26-year-old recently shared his picture with MS Dhoni on his Instagram account and praised the former Indian captain.

To note, both SRH and CSK were recently involved in a group stage match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, which was won by the defending champions by 13 runs. While the CSK skipper made eight runs in that match, Pooran was at his absolute best as he thrashed the CSK bowlers and scored an unbeaten 64* runs in just 33 balls, hitting three fours and six maximums.

The love for him is unreal: Pooran on Dhoni

In the picture, the former Indian captain can be seen giving some advice to the West Indies batter. He reminisced playing against the 40-year-old and also revealed that the entire stadium rooted for MS Dhoni during the match. “It’s electrifying when this guy is in the stadium, the love for him is unreal, Pune was on for him. Definitely one memory in my career I’ll always remember,” Pooran wrote on his Instagram handle.
