After two back-to-back defeats, team India will look to hit back when they face Bangladesh in the third ODI at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul will be leading the Men in Blue and a few changes are very much expected in the final ODI.
Since Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Sen are ruled out, players like Ishan Kishan, Rahul Tripathi, Rajat Patidar, and Kuldeep Yadav are in contention to feature in the playing XI. This will give them much-needed game time in the 50-over format as all of them are trying to solidify their place ahead of the next year’s ODI World Cup.
When it comes to Bangladesh, the Litton Das-led side has looked marvellous so far. Be it with the bat or with the ball, they have shown extreme grit in the middle and ultimately took the series home. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (100*) and Mahmudullah (77) looked top-notch in the last match as they helped the Bangla Tigers put up a match-winning total after a very poor start.
When it comes to bowling, Shakib Al Hasan and Ebadot Hossain have been Bangladesh’s best weapons so far. They have been very much among the wickets and have given Indian batters no chance to dominate. If they keep up with the same performance, it’s once again going to be a tough night for Indian batters.

It is expected to be a very warm day at Chattogram on December 10. The temperature will be around 28 degrees but will drop in the evening. Wind will gust at around 24 km/h and there’s no chance of rain at the moment. The quality of air will remain poor throughout the day.
When it comes to the pitch, spinners are likely to get a healthy advantage from the surface. Bowling first will be ideal in these conditions and anything above 270 can be considered as a good total. Given the recent record, there will be little to no support for the pacers.
